Abstract: Imigrante is the first ginger cultivar registered in Brazil. It’s suitable for cultivation in the central mountainous region of Espírito Santo state, the country’s largest producing region of origin. In three regional evaluation trials, it showed a fast and early growth cycle, reaching an average productivity of 145 t ha-1.
